With the Liscio Email Integration, emails can be added to a previously created Liscio Task. This is a great way to update a task with additional information received outside of Liscio. For example:
You create an internal To Do task for a coworker to complete something regarding a client's request. After you finish creating the task, the client emails supporting information that would aid your coworker in completing this task. You add the email to the To Do task so your coworker can easily reference that supporting information.
With this feature, it's never been easier to update, improve, or supplement a task you've created. Let's see how to do so!
To Add an Email to an Existing Task:
Note: Emails added to an existing task can only be viewed by firm users. They cannot be viewed by clients.
- Find the email you wish to add.
- From the Icon bar, click the Ellipses to show additional options.
- If your email is unopened, the Icon bar will be visible by hovering over the email subject.
- If your email is opened, the Icon bar can be found in the upper-right corner of the email.
- Under Thread Actions, select Add to Task.
- A box will overlay showing you available tasks that you can add this email to.
- Use filters and sorting options to find the task you'd like to add the email to.
- Once you've found the task, click anywhere in the task's row to select it, and then click Add at the bottom of the box.
- Your email is now attached to the existing task you chose.
- Firm users with access can see the email under the task's Emails tab.
A message will appear letting you know the email has been successfully linked to the existing task(s).
An audit trail of what the email was added to can be found at the top of the email thread.
To unlink the email from the task, click the ellipsis next to the linked task and select unlink.
