Timeline: How it Works and FAQs

What is Timeline?

Timeline is the central place where all of your client interactions come together, offering you a level of clarity, organization, and efficiency that we believe will change the way you work with clients.

How does Timeline work?

Timeline consolidates all your client emails, secure messages, files, tasks, and more into one tidy location. No more jumping between different apps or searching for scattered messages.

What are some best practices when it comes to using Timeline?

As you begin using Timeline, all your activity moving forward will be automatically included in the Timeline. It's like having an organized digital record of your client interactions at your fingertips.
Timeline becomes even more powerful when you and your colleagues enable Email Integration by connecting your Gmail or Outlook accounts. At a quick glance, any email that's auto-associated with a client's account and/or contact will be visible and accessible directly from the Timeline.
  • Firm-Wide Visibility: Everyone in your firm gains access to the same comprehensive client history. No more searching for lost emails or messages buried in personal inboxes.
  • Effortless Collaboration: You can now collaborate seamlessly on client matters. Your entire team can see all client interactions, even emails, ensuring no detail gets missed.
  • Enhanced Client Service: With a unified client view, providing top-notch client service becomes a breeze, no matter who's handling the client at any given time.

How do I access the Timeline for one of my clients?

When you click on the account and/or contact of a client, the Timeline is now the landing page for that Account.

Why is the Timeline for some of my clients blank?

If you don't see anything in your client's Timeline, that just means that there hasn't been activity for that client in Liscio yet! After communication begins, activity will show on the timeline.

Can I remove or delete items from my Timeline?

Items in Timeline are reflections of activity in other areas of Liscio, whether that be a file upload, a new message, an associated email, etc. As it's just showing you what exists elsewhere in the platform, items can't be deleted from the Timeline. Emails that are disassociated with an Account and/or Contact will be removed from the Timeline after doing so, as will Files that are deleted by firm employees.

How far back does my Timeline pull activity in for?

The timeline pulls in activity from the beginning of 2023 moving forward.
