How To Clear Cache

Your cache is the part of your hard drive that stores browser files which it may need to use again. The purpose of this is to increase the loading speed when you revisit a site.  However, it can also cause some issues, such as site glitches and downloading errors.  If you run into any functionality issues, clearing your cache often offers a quick fix.

 Chrome:

  1.  Click the lock icon to the left of your URL.
  2. Click Cookies.
  3. Click Remove until all "The following cookies were set when you viewed this page" are removed.
  4. Click Done.

           OR

  1. In browser bar, enter: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData.
  2. Click the checkbox next to Cached images and files.
  3. Click Clear Data.

Firefox:

  1. Click the gear icon.
  2. Click Privacy & Security.
  3. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data.
  4. Click Clear Data.
  5. Remove the check mark in front of Cookies and Site Data.
  6. Click Clear.

Safari:

  1. From the Safari menu, select Clear History... or Clear History and Website Data...
  2. Select the desired time range, and then click Clear History.
  3. Go to Safari > Quit Safari.
