Completing a Tax Organizer (Desktop)

In Liscio, your tax organizers questions are tailored based on your prior year's tax organizer, making it easier and faster to complete.

When you are sent an organizer via Liscio, you will receive an email notification similar to the one below. Additional reminders will go out the week before it's due, the day before it's due, the day it becomes overdue, then weekly overdue reminders until you've submitted the completed organizer.







How to Complete Your Tax Organizer

  1. From the email notification, click Login
  2. Find “My To Do List” on your screen and click on your organizer from your firm
  3. Note that your full, PDF version is at the top. Click "Source File" to view, print, or download the PDF version!
  4. You'll see a lot of your basic information pre-populated. Make edits to anything that has changed and start answering empty questions.
  5. You have an option to select NA for any File Upload questions when you don't have something to add.
  6. Have a paper document you need in Liscio? Use our mobile scanner (learn how to scan here)!
  7. Once you're done with the organizer, hit Mark Complete in the bottom right corner. This will notify your firm that you're done!
Noteworthy items:
  1. Progress is automatically saved as you complete the organizer, and your firm can see it immediately. However, if you are leaving the Organizer to pick it up at a later time, please use the Save and Exit button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. You can work between different devices like your computer, tablet, and phone. It'll save your progress between the different devices!
  3. You can skip around and answer the questions you know, then come back to file uploads as you get documents in the mail such as your W-2.
