How to Enable Multi-Factor Authentication

Enabling multi-factor authentication is a critical step in improving your cybersecurity. Liscio supports Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, and others.

If using an Authentication app:

Android:
  1. Go to the Google Play Store.
  2. Search for the authentication app you wish to use.
  3. Tap Install.
  4. The Google Authenticator app is now installed on your phone.
iOS:
  1. Go to the App Store.
  2. Search for the authentication app you wish to use.
  3. Tap Get and then Install.
  4. The Google Authenticator app is now installed on your phone.

If using Authentication through a Password Manager:

Many password managers offer multi-factor authentication. Check with your password manager to see if they have this feature.

Next:

  1. In Liscio, click on your name (Profile Settings) in the lower-left of the screen.
  2. Under Security Settings, click Manage.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Open the authenticator you wish to use.
  5. Scan the barcode in Liscio on your desktop with your phone when prompted to do so in the authenticator, or use the "Scan Barcode" option in your Password Manager.
  6. Type in the Verification Code in Liscio you get from the Authenticator.
  7. Click Verify.
  8. Click Done.
