How to Enable Multi-Factor Authentication
Enabling multi-factor authentication is a critical step in improving your cybersecurity. Liscio supports Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, and others.
If using an Authentication app:
Android:
- Go to the Google Play Store.
- Search for the authentication app you wish to use.
- Tap Install.
- The Google Authenticator app is now installed on your phone.
iOS:
- Go to the App Store.
- Search for the authentication app you wish to use.
- Tap Get and then Install.
- The Google Authenticator app is now installed on your phone.
If using Authentication through a Password Manager:
Many password managers offer multi-factor authentication. Check with your password manager to see if they have this feature.
Next:
- In Liscio, click on your name (Profile Settings) in the lower-left of the screen.
- Under Security Settings, click Manage.
- Click Next.
- Open the authenticator you wish to use.
- Scan the barcode in Liscio on your desktop with your phone when prompted to do so in the authenticator, or use the "Scan Barcode" option in your Password Manager.
- Type in the Verification Code in Liscio you get from the Authenticator.
- Click Verify.
- Click Done.
