How to Use File Filters

Use the filters at the top of the Files page to quickly narrow down the file section.

Here's a breakdown of the filters:

  1. All Files: Filter between Firm Uploads, Client Uploads, and Firm Only Files.
  2. Sources: Filter between Message, Note (internal), Task, and Manual.
  3. Tags: This list can be customized by Firm Admins by going to Preferences.
  4. Month and Year: Filter by Month and Year.
  5. Account: Filter by the client profile.
  6. Contact: Filter by who uploaded the file or to whom it was uploaded.
  7. Active: Filter between Active and Archived files.

Pro-TIp: The None filter can now be selected when selecting from the Account filter.  This filter will allow you to search for any files that are not associated with Accounts or Contacts.  It's a quick and easy way to find files and share them with the correct Accounts and Contacts. See Below.
