Trouble Previewing PDFs in Liscio

Follow these steps if you are having difficulty previewing PDFs in Liscio.

Firefox:

  1. Click Settings.



  2. Search PDF in the search bar.
  3. Under Applications, locate Portable Document Format (PDF).

  4. Using the dropdown under the related Action, make sure it's set to Open in Firefox.

Chrome:

  1. Use the vertical Ellipses in the upper-right corner, and go to Settings.
  2. Using the settings search, type Site Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click Additional content settings.
  4. Click PDF documents.



  5. Turn off Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome or uncheck Open PDF files in the default PDF viewer application.


Safari: 

  1. Quit Safari and navigate to the Finder menu.
  2. Select GO then choose Go To Folder (You can also access this by holding SHIFT+⌘+G).
  3. Type in the following Internet Plug-Ins and hit enter. A Finder window will open that should look like this:Internet Plugin Finder Window
  4. Make a backup of the contents of this folder then delete the AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin.
  5. Relaunch Safari and view the PDF.
