Multi-Factor Authentication Overview
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security system that requires an additional method of verifying a user's login credentials. It is a critical step in improving your cybersecurity and securing your data. A large majority of data breaches occur through compromised authentication. We highly encourage the use of MFA to prevent this from occurring.
Employees with the Firm Admin Role can help monitor MFA for all employee users.
- Click the ellipsis (three dots) under your profile picture on the left side of the screen.
- Click Admin.
- Click Users.
- The column called MFA will show who has it enabled.
MFA instructions for your team:
We recommend communicating with your team to ensure everyone enables MFA. A sample template with instructions is attached.
Liscio Supports all major Authenticator apps including:

Password management programs like 1Pass, LastPass, and NordPass also offer MFA capability. If you do not already use an Authenticator app or program, please download one from the iPhone App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable.
