How Clients Sign eDocs in Liscio

Clients have two simple ways to sign electronic documents (eDocs): using their mobile devices (tablets or iPads) or desktops. Here’s the step-by-step process:

Signing from Mobile Device or Desktop:

This section covers additional troubleshooting scenarios and explains the signing order functionality to provide better user guidance.

  1. Locate Signature Request: Clients will find the signature request under "My To-Do List."

  2. Open Task and Begin: Click on the task and then select Review & Sign.

  3. Proceed through Signing: Click Continue, followed by Start, to initiate the signing process.

  4. Complete Signatures: Clients will be guided through the document, ensuring they complete each required signature field.

  5. Finalize Document: Once signing is complete, click Finish and then Tap to Sign to submit the document.

If a signature request does not appear in the To-Do List, it may be due to the signing order setting. Signers will only see the task after all prior signers have completed their part.

Upon completion, the signed document is automatically returned to the firm for review. Clients can easily access a copy of their signed documents in their Files section.
