Export Instructions
Make sure you are on the HomeBase client view, not in a client.
Select HomeBase at the top of the program window.
Select Export Contacts.
Select OK.
*Full Address
If you'd like the full address to be added in Liscio, you'll first build a custom HomeBase view that includes the street-address column, then export it as above. (ProSeries Professional Edition only — the street-address field isn't available in the default view.) Do Part A once to learn it, then repeat for each module you prepare.
Part A — Build the custom view on your first module (e.g., Form 1040)
In the HomeBase View dropdown at the top-left, select Form 1040: Individual. You must be on a specific formset view — the All Tax Returns, EF Center, and Pay-by-Refund views can't be customized.
Click the Gear icon at the upper-left corner of the grid. (Alternatively, open the HomeBase menu in the top toolbar and choose Add/Edit Custom Views.)
On the left side of the window, click +Add New Custom View.
Give the view a name you'll recognize, such as "1040 with Address."
In the column checklist, check the street-address field. Leave City, State, and ZIP checked too if you want the full mailing address.
Click Save, then click Close.
Back on the main screen, open the HomeBase View dropdown and select your new custom view, then export it by clicking HomeBase at the top of the program window -> Export View -> Select OK.
Part B — Repeat for each additional module
For every other return type you prepare (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041, etc.):
Switch the HomeBase View dropdown to that formset (e.g., Form 1120: Corporation).
Repeat steps 2–7 above, naming each view consistently (e.g., "1120 with Address," "1065 with Address") so they're easy to find, then export each one.
Exported HomeBase Views and CSV file Details:
