Archiving and Viewing Archived Files

Archive files on the Files page, view them with Show archived, and edit an archived file's details.

What happens when I archive a file?

Archiving removes a file from your active files without deleting it, so you can still find it later. Archiving only applies to your firm. Clients still see the file unless they archive it too.

How to archive files

  1. Select Files from the vertical (left-hand) menu.

  2. Select the checkbox next to each file you want to archive.

  3. In the bulk actions toolbar at the bottom of the page, select Archive.

  4. Liscio shows how many files you're about to archive. Select Archive to confirm, or Cancel.

How to view archived files

  1. Select Files from the vertical (left-hand) menu.

  2. In the filters, turn on Show archived.

Note: When Show archived is on, you see only archived files. Turn it off to see your active files again.

Can I edit an archived file?

Yes. To edit an archived file, open it and change its Year, Month, or Account. Archived files can't be routed, shared, or moved, and some bulk actions aren't available for them.

Can I search for archived files?

Yes. Archived files appear in search results on the Folders tab.
