Estimated Tax Payment Reminders

When a tax return is delivered through Smart Tax Delivery, firms can choose how clients are notified about any estimated tax payments.

This notification preference can be selected when sending a return and can also be configured as a firm-wide default.

Depending on the option selected, clients will receive a notification with a link to their Taxes page, where they can:

  • View estimated payment amounts

  • See upcoming due dates

  • Access links to the federal or state payment portals to submit their payments

Clients will also receive automatic reminders two weeks before each quarterly due date when estimated payments are listed in Tax Details.
