You can quickly turn any email into a Task to track work, set due dates, and keep things moving. This works great for:

  • Setting reminders for yourself or a teammate

  • Following up with clients when more info is needed

  • Automating reminders so you don’t have to

Create a Task from an Email:

  1. Open the email

  2. Select the Create Task icon at the top-right

    • To turn a specific reply into a Task, select the ellipsis (...) next to that reply

    • To turn the entire thread into a Task, select the ellipsis next to the last reply

  3. Select Create Task

  4. Use the Task Type dropdown to choose the task.

    1. The default is To Do, which is internal-only—clients won’t see it.

      1. If you're creating a To Do, select a firm Employee. (Optional: add Account and Contact.)

    2. For all other Task types, you must select the Account and Contact to ensure it reaches the right client.

  5. Adjust the Due Date if needed (default is one week out), and choose a Task Owner if different from yourself.

  6. Add a Subject, Description, and attach any files (drag and drop, browse, or use Liscio Vault).

  7. Select Create Task to finish.
