How Client Notifications Work in Liscio
Liscio automatically keeps your clients informed through email, mobile, and text notifications. Here’s how each type works:
Email Notifications
Clients automatically receive email notifications when your firm:
Sends a new message or file.
Assigns a new task.
Task Reminder Emails:
Clients receive reminders for tasks listed on their Home Dashboard’s "My To-Do List" at the following intervals:
1 week before the due date
1 day before the due date
On the due date (if overdue)
Weekly until the task is completed
Security Alerts:
Clients are notified via email if they log into Liscio from a new device or IP address.
Mobile Notifications
Clients can receive real-time notifications on their mobile devices by downloading the Liscio Mobile App (Liscio Pro on iPhone Apple Store).
This ensures clients stay updated and can respond quickly while on the go.
Text Notifications
SMS vs Text Notifications in Liscio
SMS functionality in Liscio does not require enabling specific checkboxes like"Text Notifications." Regular SMS communication can begin as long as the client’s profile contains a valid mobile number.
Clients receive text notifications:
When invited to join Liscio.
When you select Notify via Text when sending a new message.
Understanding Text Notifications: The "Text Notifications" setting is specifically for system-generated alerts and is not required for regular SMS communication.
To enable system-generated text notifications, follow these steps:
Open the client's Contact Profile.
Go to Details → Edit.
Activate Text Notifications.
Note: Clients can opt out of text notifications at any time. You will be notified if they do.
