Setting Up Recurring Tasks in Liscio

Recurring Tasks automatically create new tasks for clients at set intervals, such as monthly document requests.

Note: Recurring settings control when tasks are regenerated, not when reminders are sent. Reminders are always automated and cannot be changed.

Note: All task types can be made recurring except eDocs.

To Set Up a Recurring Task:

  1. Select Add New, then Task, then choose the Task Type.

  2. On the right-hand side, select Set Recurring.

  3. Set the task to recur weekly, monthly, or yearly.

  4. Select an End Date.

  5. Choose how the task will recur:

    On Schedule:

    • A new task is created 5 days before the previous task’s due date, even if the previous task is incomplete.

    • Clients receive a notification when the new task is created.

    • Note: The due date of the first On Schedule task cannot be modified at creation.

    • Tip: Hover over the due date on the Tasks page to see when the next task will be generated.

    When Completed:

    • A new task is created only after the previous task is marked complete.

    • If the due date is more than 5 days away, the new task appears under Drafts.

    • If the due date is less than 5 days away, the task moves directly to Open Tasks.

    • Clients do not see tasks in Drafts.

    • Tip: Hover over the due date in the Draft tab to see when the task will move to Open Tasks.

  6. Select Done.

  7. Select a Due Date.

  8. Select Create Task.
