Route returns in bulk
When several returns are waiting in your FileConnect queue, you don’t have to route them one at a time. Select them all, choose where they go, and send them to Smart Tax in one step.
Note: Files sent through FileConnect are removed from your _Upload_To_Liscio_ folder once they reach Liscio. This is expected.
Send several returns to Smart Tax
Select Files from the vertical (left-hand) menu, and stay on the Inbox tab.
Tip: When returns are waiting, you can select Open FileConnect queue in the banner at the top of Liscio to go straight there.Make sure the Source filter is set to FileConnect.
Check the box next to each return you want to route. To select every return on the page, check the box at the top of the list.
In the bulk actions bar at the bottom of the page, select Route.
Choose Smart Tax Organizer or Smart Tax Delivery.
Choose a Request Owner. This is the person at your firm who’s notified when each client signs their return.
If you chose Smart Tax Organizer, also choose an Organizer Template.
Select Submit.
Check that your returns were routed
A confirmation shows how many returns were routed successfully and how many failed. Select Close to dismiss it. Routed returns leave the FileConnect queue, and the count in the banner goes down.
Find your returns in Smart Tax
After processing, your returns appear as drafts on the Smart Tax page: organizers under Organizer Requests, and deliveries under Delivery Requests.
Other bulk actions
The bulk actions bar also lets you Download, Share, Mark reviewed, Move, Archive, or Delete the selected files. Select × to clear your selection.
