Adjusting a File's Associated Account

If files are uploaded to the wrong Account, they can be shared with the correct one. However, this will only add the correct Account, but won't remove the incorrect Account.
  1. Click Files on the left-hand navigation.
  2. Filter by the Account or Contact name associated with the files to narrow down the list.
  3. Click the checkboxes next to each file that needs to be adjusted.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Share File.
  5. In the To field, choose the Account the file needs to be associated with.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Share.

If you need to make sure that file is only associated with the correct Account, we would recommend following the steps below:
  1. Click Files on the left-hand navigation.
  2. Filter by the Account or Contact name associated with the files to narrow down the list.
  3. Click the checkboxes next to each file that needs to be adjusted.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Download.
  5. The files will be downloaded to your computer. If you're downloading more than one file, it will create a Zip file.
  6. Once the files are successfully downloaded, in Liscio scroll to the bottom of the page and click Delete.
  7. Scroll back to the top of the Files page, and click the +Upload File button.
  8. In the recipient box, select the correct Contacts and Accounts you want the files associated with.
  9. You can either add a subject and message, or click the Do Not Send Message checkbox.
  10. Add the file or files as attachments, and complete the file upload.
  11. The files will now only be associated with the correct Account(s) and won't be associated with the original, incorrect Account(s).
