Tax Organizers: Troubleshooting Organizers That Didn't Process
With Requests, firms are able to send Organizers from the most popular tax programs through Liscio to their clients. Rather than send your clients to another site or program to complete the organizer, they'll be able to answer those important questions in the same place they communicate with your firm! Even better, Liscio will condense the organizer based on the information provided in the previous year to create a tailored organizer for each client.
As you import organizers into Liscio, be sure to carefully read the printing instructions below to ensure successful processing:
- Bulk Exporting Organizers from Intuit Proseries
- Bulk Exporting Organizers from CCH Axcess
- Bulk Exporting Organizers from ATX
- Bulk Exporting Organizers from Drake
- Bulk Exporting Organizers from Lacerte
- Bulk Exporting Organizers from UltraTax
If an organizer doesn't process after following the instructions, here are possible reasons:
Troubleshooting: Why did the Organizer not process?
- Your Organizer may be Password Protected.
- Please export organizers without any password protection.
- Pages coming before the actual Organizer (cover letter, inserts (questionnaires), and engagement letters, etc.) exceed 25 pages.
- Please limit these pages to fewer than 25.
- The PDF you're attempting to upload is compressed/zipped.
- Check the file details in your File Explorer/Finder. If compressed, decompress and attempt again with the new PDF.
- Ensure you upload in the correct window.
- There are specific import windows for tax organizers and tax returns.
- Drop tax organizers in the blue box on the left of the import screen that says "Tax Organizers".
