Printing Organizers
As you import organizers into Liscio, be sure to carefully read the printing instructions for the support tax software below to ensure successful processing:
Importing Organizers
Select the Smart Tax page in the vertical (left-hand) menu.
Browse or Drag and Drop the PDF organizers generated from the tax software.
Note: We recommend importing batches of 100 to avoid browser timeouts.
Select the Organizer Template.
Your firm's published customized organizer templates are available in the dropdown.
Optional: If you'd like to assign the "Owner" of the organizer to a different employee, select the drop down next to the Upload button to make this change. The Owner receives a notification when the client submits their organizer.
Select the Upload button in the bottom-right corner.
Organizers will show under the Processing tab.
Once the organizers have process, they can be found on the Organizer Requests tab.
Note: It may take a few minutes for the uploads to complete processing.
Sending Organizers
From the Organizer Requests tab, select the blue square icon to the left of the search bar to select multiple requests.
How assignees are applied
Organizers are automatically assigned when the email address on the organizer matches the taxpayer’s or spouse’s email address in Liscio.
If both spouses are assigned, they will complete one shared organizer, and each spouse can see the other’s responses.
If an organizer does not have an assignee, it must be manually assigned before sending.
Select the organizers.
Add a Due Date, then select Send.
For unassigned organizers:
Select the draft to open it.
Add an Assignee
Select the blue Save button.
Complete this process until all drafts have an assigned, then send in bulk.
Once sent, use the progress bar to track client progress.
