General Questions

Q: Do I need special permissions to use the GruntWorx integration? Firm Admin need to set up the initial connection. Once connected, all firm users can export client data to GruntWorx.

Q: How long does the export process take? Export time depends on the number and size of documents. Most exports complete within minutes.

Q: Can I export the same client multiple times? Yes, you can export additional documents for the same client. GruntWorx will add new files to the existing client record.

Setup Questions

Q: Where do I find my GruntWorx API Key? Log in to GruntWorx, go to Settings > Connect tab, and copy the API Key displayed.

Q: What if I can't find the Connect tab in GruntWorx? Contact your GruntWorx administrator to ensure you have API access permissions.


Usage Questions

Q: What happens if a client already exists in GruntWorx? The system will add the new documents to the existing client record rather than creating a duplicate. Note: The Client ID must match exactly between Liscio and GruntWorx for files to be exported to the correct client.

Q: Can clients see their documents in GruntWorx? No, clients only interact with Liscio. GruntWorx is used by the accounting firm for processing.

Q: What document formats are supported? The integration supports all standard document formats accepted by both Liscio and GruntWorx, including PDF, JPG, PNG, and common office document formats.
