What is FileConnect?
Liscio FileConnect lets you print or save files from any software, such as your tax or accounting software, directly into Liscio, skipping the hassle of downloading and uploading to your computer. Each firm user gets a Liscio folder, so every file arrives in Liscio labeled with the person who sent it. From there, route files to Smart Tax Organizers or Smart Tax Delivery.
How to Set Up FileConnect
In Liscio, select your name (Profile Settings) from the vertical (left-hand) menu.
On your profile settings page, select Third-party Apps.
Under the Document Management Systems header, select Connect under the SharePoint section to authenticate your Microsoft account.
Note: FileConnect uses the same Microsoft connection as the Microsoft SharePoint integration, but they do different things. The SharePoint integration lets you attach SharePoint files to items in Liscio and export files to SharePoint. FileConnect sends files into Liscio from any software. Connecting once turns on both.
Log in to Microsoft and select Allow to grant Liscio access.
Once completed, a folder named _Upload_to_Liscio_ will be created under "My Files" in OneDrive and OneDrive on your computer.
