How to send a file to Liscio with FileConnect

  1. In your software, print or save the file as a PDF.

  2. Choose the __Upload_To_Liscio__ folder as the save location.

  3. Select Save.

Liscio brings the file in and labels it with your name.

Note: You can save as many files to __Upload_To_Liscio__ as you need, and each one moves to Liscio on its own. You can't send a whole folder, so save individual files instead.

What happens to the file in OneDrive?

Once the file reaches Liscio, it's removed from __Upload_To_Liscio__, so the folder never fills up. Your original file stays in the software you sent it from.

How to find your FileConnect files in Liscio

  1. Select Files from the vertical (left-hand) menu.

  2. Select the Inbox tab.

  3. Set the Source dropdown to FileConnect.

Tip: When files are waiting, you can also select Open FileConnect queue in the banner at the top of Liscio.

Will Liscio know which client a file belongs to?

Liscio reads the client ID on files such as tax returns to recommend which client the file belongs to. If Liscio isn't sure, you choose the client.

What can I do with a file after it arrives?

You can route it to Smart Tax Delivery or a Smart Tax Organizer, or share it with a Contact or Account. More route options, such as sending a file with a message, are coming soon.
