Custom Views allow for greater transparency of messages in your Inbox.
You can change your inbox to reflect messages from specific accounts, contacts, and date ranges. This is a great tool for monitoring important accounts or the messages coming to a team member who is out of the office, onboarding employees, and collaborating with coworkers!
To Create a Custom View:
Click
Inbox
on the left-hand navigation.
Click the blue
My Messages
button in the upper-left of your inbox.
At the bottom of the drop down menu, click
Create Custom View
.
Enter a view Name and your desired criteria. You can filter for messages related to a specific account(s) and contact(s) or employee(s), as well as from a specific date range, and for messages with attachments.
Under Restrict Visibility, choose to keep your view private, or make it visible to other employees.

to collaborate on their accounts.)
Click
Save

Note:
Specialist
employees can only view messages related to accounts they are assigned. Messages related to
restricted accounts
are only visible to Firm Admins and the account's CST.)
To Apply a Custom View:
Click
Inbox
on the left-hand navigation.
Click the blue
My Messages
button in the upper-left of your inbox.
The options listed above the dotted line are views that you have created. The options listed below the dotted line are views that have been created by other employees in your firm.
Click on a view to apply it to your inbox.
(
Note:
Custom views cannot be applied to the inbox preview on your Home page.)
When a custom view is applied, your inbox will display all message threads between you and the contacts/accounts specified in the custom view
in which you were a recipient
.
The
All
tab in the upper-right (next to 'Pinned') will display all messages exchanged between your firm and the contacts/accounts specified in the custom view,
including messages in which you were not a recipient
.
To Edit a Custom View:
Click the blue
My Messages
button in the upper-left of your inbox.
Select the custom view you wish to edit.
Click the
pencil icon
to the right of the blue button.
Modify the criteria and click
Save
.
To Delete a Custom View:
Click the blue
My Messages
button in the upper-left of your inbox.
Select the custom view you wish to delete.
Click the
pencil icon
to the right of the blue button.
Click the
trash can
in the upper-right corner.
Click
Yes
.
Note:
When editing a view that has been shared with you by another employee, a new copy of the view is created with the same name as the original.
Making a view that has been shared by another employee your default view will also create a copy of that view.
The profile image of the employee who created the view will appear next to the view that they created. Hover over the profile image to view the name of the employee who created a particular view.
When editing a shared view, we recommend renaming the view to avoid confusion
