What's Supported for Tax Return Delivery

Smart Tax Delivery allows firms to send tax returns for client review, signature, and estimated tax payments in one streamlined workflow. However, support varies depending on the tax software used and the state forms included.

What's Supported for Tax Return Delivery

Supported Software and Return Types:

Locality taxes for Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Ultratax

All Resident, Non-resident, and Partial-Year returns.

CCH

All Resident, Non-resident, and Partial-Year returns.

Drake

All Resident, Non-resident, and Partial-Year returns. Exceptions below.

Verify Page Order: Certain state forms (CO, LA, MO, OH SD-100, and CA-540 NR) may print out of sequence. Ensure all federal and state pages are in the correct numerical order before uploading.

Colorado, Louisiana, Missouri, Ohio School District, and California Non-Resident: Drake is currently printing state pages out of order (page 2 appearing on page 5 or page 2 appearing on page 1). Please change the print order of these pages before creating the PDF copy of the client return. If left uncorrected, our system will not accurately "rip" the data. Drake is working on a fix, and we will automate this as soon as their output is corrected.

Support Coming Soon for: Virginia Non-Resident.

Lacerte

All Resident, Non-resident, and Partial-Year returns.

ProSeries

All Resident returns.

Supported Non-Resident and Part-Year Returns: Alabama, California, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
