AI File Intelligence: Supported Document Types

When an accounting-related document is uploaded, Liscio extracts key details (such as vendor name, document type, and date) and applies your firm’s naming conventions automatically.

  • Non-accounting documents (for example, photos or images like a picture of a person) are not automatically renamed. Instead, you’ll be given the option to rename the file manually if needed.

  • Only PDF file types are supported.

  • For best results, upload files in PDF format with clear, legible text. Scanned images or handwritten notes may reduce accuracy.

Below is a list of currently supported document types for each category.

1099 Forms

Allowed Forms:

  • 1099-NEC

  • 1099-MISC

  • 1099-INT

  • 1099-DIV

  • 1099-K

  • 1099-R

  • 1099-G

  • 1099-B

  • 1099-S

  • 1099-C

  • 1099-A

  • 1099-Q

  • 1099-OID

  • 1099-PATR

  • 1099-SA

  • 1099-CAP

  • 1099-LTC

  • 1099-LS

  • 1099-HC

  • 1095-C

  • State forms that include federal 1099 information


Income Tax Data

Allowed Forms and Documents:

  • Schedule K-1


Income Tax Returns

Allowed Forms:

  • Federal: 1040


Payroll Tax Forms

Allowed Forms:

  • Form W-2 (all copies)


Sales Tax Returns

Allowed Forms:

  • State sales tax returns (any state)

    • Examples:

      • CA: CDTFA-401

      • TX: Form 01-117

      • NY: ST-100

      • FL: DR-15

  • Sales tax payment confirmations


Bank and Credit Statements

Allowed Documents:

  • Monthly bank statements (checking or savings)

  • Credit card statements (monthly statements only)


Invoices

Allowed Documents:

  • Business or client invoices
