SMS: Using Two-Way Texting

Liscio SMS empowers your firm to text clients easily, without relying on your personal phone. It ensures visibility across the firm, keeps communications organized, and helps maintain professional boundaries, all while enhancing client responsiveness.​

To Send a Text:

  1. Select SMS from the vertical (left-hand) menu.

  2. Click +SMS in the top-right corner.

  3. Enter the client’s phone number or Contact name.

    • The number must be associated with a Contact in Liscio to send a message.

    • If the number is not currently linked to a Contact, you can either:

      • Create a new Contact, or

      • Add the number to an existing Contact.

4. Type your message in the reply box at the bottom of your screen and send it when ready!

When a Client Responds to a Text:

When a client replies via SMS, you’ll receive several notifications in Liscio to ensure prompt awareness:

  • A banner notification will appear.

  • A new notice will be added to the Notification Center.

  • An unread message count will be displayed on the SMS tab in the menu bar.

All text conversations will also appear on the Contact’s Timeline. This ensures that your coworkers can view and review client texts in real time, keeping everyone aligned and supporting effective team collaboration.
